7 miles with Dad with a time trial workout. Today we did a time trialto see what i should aim for in conference. a slow 3 mile to begin the day. the time trial i ran my new PR, 5:12 in the mil and 5:10 in the 1600m. i finished thinking it was slow but actually in was right where i wanted it. If it were a offical it would have beat any other time in the regionand broke the record, set in 2006! 4 mile cooldown. I feel great, not really sore at all, just tired.

Way to rock it out there this morning! I am very proud of you and you will crush it at conference!

Well done! That's quite an improvement in, what, 7-10 days?!

That's huge, Justin. Nice job.

Did your Dad run with you? If so - it might be the last time he can keep up :-)

Yes, I was his pacer and it is getting harder and harder to stay with him! He just needed to believe he could dig into the pain and accept it, he has been capable of running this all season but had to get it into his head that he could.
