I am running XC and track for Westminster College in SLC.  I will study Economics and go to law school.

Long-Term Running Goals:

 Run the Athen's (Greece) Marathon with my dad.

Help my college team build a strong program and continue to improve.

5.1 miles with family. 2 miles with Mum and Kate. Mum actually liked it and Kate had her fasts 2 miles of her life!!!! 19:47!!!! After that Dad and I ran 3.1 at good pace. In the wind i did 3.1 in 20mins. Last .25 was at sub 6 pace and last 150m was at 5:40 pace!!!!

8 miles at track pracfice.  1 mile warmup then a mile in 5:42!  I then led the team in 5 - 800m repeats.  Most of the team dropped out. A cool down afterwards.

4.25 miles from the school to Tauphaus park to run the high 5 relay course.  Distance kids still don't know how to put in a good workout on my team (except for a couple of kids).  According to one of my "friends" my dad and I don't really know that much about running.

The Sandcreek meet today.  I am frustrated with the running on the track with people cutting me off and guys running on the inside of the lines and not getting DQ'd.  

800m in 2:34 for 4th.  Outkicked a couple of kids in the last 100m.

1600m in 5;33 new PR!   4th place though as I let the race get away from me in front and did not keep with the front 2 guys.  I am going to RACE the conference champs next week and not let them get away.

8 miles at pratice. Today i tried to lead the team in 800m repeats but they didn't want to run so i did the solo. 7 800m repeats with recovery 800m and the 800m recovery acted a rest. all of them were between 2:44 and 2;29, the 2:29 is my new PR. One mile cooldwon at the end. I have the record at my school in the 800m!!!!! i found out yesterday. the old record had stood sine 1995.

7 miles with Dad with a time trial workout. Today we did a time trialto see what i should aim for in conference. a slow 3 mile to begin the day. the time trial i ran my new PR, 5:12 in the mil and 5:10 in the 1600m. i finished thinking it was slow but actually in was right where i wanted it. If it were a offical it would have beat any other time in the regionand broke the record, set in 2006! 4 mile cooldown. I feel great, not really sore at all, just tired.
