2 half marathons in summer of 2015, IF HM in 1:26!

3 half marathons in summer of 2014.  Idaho Falls HM in 1:29!

Junior 5k XC PR: 17:25

Short-Term Running Goals:

Finish off senior year at IFHS.  I sustained an injury at the USNA Summer Seminar this summer (torn hip labrum) which caused me to miss my senior season of XC.  My team won the Idaho 4A state championship (good team).  Looking forward to the longer racing distance in college.  Get running consistently to hit spring and summer hard to be ready for college team.

I will run in college (Westminster College, SLC), study Economics and go to law school.

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

 Run the Athen's (Greece) Marathon with my dad.

Help my future college team (Westminster College) build a strong program and continue to improve.

First day of summer training. Tempo Day!!! So i was supposed to run 4 miles at 6:1o pace but i got competive with myself and decided to try to run as fast as i can for as long as i can. I ran 2.01 miles in 10:40, 2 5:20 miles. It was really haed and it sucked but i just ran faster then i did at conference and doubled the distance. i was alone on the road the whole time and i did it!!!!! Freaked out a bunch of walkers while doing it. Warmup mile the a cooldown mile. In the evening i did 2.25 with Dad around neighborhoood at 6:35 pace and felt a little stiff but fine.

I ran the Tiger Grizz XC course twice with Dad.  The second time with my spikes.  We finished off with 10 10m strides. Fun but hard.
